Free Puppet Shows!

One of our new things this year has been a puppet show.  It is setup in the back of the barn with hay bales for seating and the horses for a backdrop.  The show is about the 3 little pigs and lasts about 20 minutes long.
Previously the puppet show cost just a dollar. However, this Saturday the 22nd, all puppet shows are free! They run every 30 minutes between 10am and 3pm, with a break for lunch.

Here is a short video clip of the puppet show.

Unique Pumpkins & The First Frost

It's fun to see the different & unique pumpkins that grow on the farm. In addition to "normal" pumpkins we have lots of "one of a kind" pumpkins! Like this one which is best described by a picture.

Last Friday we had our first frost. After that happens the pumpkin plants wilt and expose all the pumpkins that have been growing under the big leaves. It's neat because it shows just how many pumpkins have been growing.

Scarecrow Contest

A big thanks to 13 local girl scout troops that made scarecrows and still have them displayed them on the farm. They had a contest last Saturday and we got to participate in the judging. It was a great day! All the troops did a great job and are very creative. Our kids favorite was Jack (from Jack in the Box). The scarecrows are looking over the pumpkin patch for the rest of the month. Come check them out!

Welcome to our Pumpkin Patch!

We officially opened on Saturday! We are so excited to be open and to see families come over to have a great time! We have lots of activities set up and a few of them are new or improved.
Come learn how to milk a "cow"...

Try your skills at the cute beanbag toss!

Lasso and rope a "bull" like a real cowboy/cowgirl!

Come play and slide!

Come inside our kids hay maze!

Play in our NEW Corn shed - a whimsically painted shed full of dried corn to play in like a sand box. Kids love it!

Stop by the market for some treats and home made crafts.

Our traditional pumpkins are priced by size, and our specialty pumpkins are priced by weight.

On Saturdays sign up for our craft times to make something fun for only $1.00!

Come see our new cute and fuzzy bunnies!

And of course, come pick out the PERFECT PUMPKIN!
A "Pumpkin Buck" (one dollar credit) is included with each paid admission and can be combined with other pumpkin bucks from your same party to credit towards your pumpkin purchase.

See you soon!
